I strongly disagree with this evaluation.
My patches were up as early as June the 17th, and I was awaiting reviews, and responding to them as soon as possible. The reviews did come, but none of them addressed all the issues at once. Each review seemed to bring up issues that weren't brought up in the earlier patchset, and the -1s kept on stacking up. If the reviews were all provided at once, or in a couple of patchsets, I would have resolved them much earlier, naturally. The delay, I believe, is as much of the mentor's responsibility as it is mine. I have regularly updating patches according to the necessities, but if the need was to have the MVP up earlier, I believe the reviews should have been up earlier, too.
Also, it is worth noting that jenkins was down till just one week before the deadline, and that denied me the opportunity to test my patches against the server. It should have been resolved earlier.
The MVP said that the patches would be considered if they had been +2ed by jenkins. Despite jenkins being down for so long, I managed to meet that, and feel that I have been very unfairly left out by the 'consideration'.
