I don't know if this would prevent the time when xosview is still going, but
the mouse failed.

Also, I have been having a problem of the system not coming up properly.  I
think I've been zapping it with static electricity.  My solution has been to
remove the ram and put it back in.  I'll clean the contacts too.  We'll see if
this helps.
