Most QLers go by car. Road-wise, it's THE easiest venue to find (how
many times have I got lost in towns and cities trying to find
venues!). Might it be that Manchester is north of Watford???

As someone who has travelled half the length of the country regularly
to workshops over the years (I'm just grateful I'm not Jochen Merz
driving from Germany), I hope Manchester continues to host
workshops, being the only northern venue.

Nice try to get Toady's editor to sit between two responsible people
but he still manage to (inadvertently, it seems) make off with
something he shouldn't have made off with. Grand Larceny? That's Just
Words of course.

Seriously, though, as far as I was concerned the timing of the
workshop was good - didn't have to get there too early on saturday and
able to leave in good time on sunday. Unfortunate that most of the
traders were unable to attend for various reasons, but those of us
there had a good time.
