All the more commendable then that you were the most up to date of them all. >> It may just help a few more people to turn up at shows if accurate >> information were available in a timely manner at the most obvious place >> for it: On the Quanta website. If the website would allow people (using a similar vetting process to this list)to log in a lot more private information could be shared. Those logged in could fill in a simple form saying whether they were coming and what theyd be prepared to help with at the show or to put any questions theyd like help with. Both entering and displaying this information can be relatively easily automated using php or similar, requiring no further input from the webmaster. Vetting might require some human input, as for this list. >> @ Show details (presentations, debates, etc) > Again these are often hazy and subject to change. Road works change daily Ah, but last year this information was given so as to warn people to book early. It was merely a suggestion of the sort of thing that might be useful at times. <> >> Dreaming is easy, doing is hard, but if no one knows what people want it >> certainly wont happen. > True. Well, now that we know, we'll keep a lookout for you. For my part you would have been very welcome to a piece of the swarthy "lady" who monopolised me at the "QL is 21" show in Portsmouth - if you dont mind that she was a rather tall and muscular "he", (a naval mechanic, if I recall correctly)in a very pretty dress..
