Ok, technically you are right and I am wrong (yet again) but in my defence I would like to explain to the court, that the drivers thing is what b*gg*rs up most (new) operating systems. I was referring to support for XP etc programs. Drivers will always be a problem - especially on Linux because most of the hardware manufacturers only consider Windows as an OS and nothing else exists. So they won't give the Linux guys any details on what the interface is which is why there are lots of people complaining that "there are no drivers for my xxxxxx". Of course, with MS moving the Vista goalposts all the time throught the beta program, it is difficult for these manufacturers to get a stable development platform to develop a driver anyway ! Cheers, Norman. _______________________________________________ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
