I had to upgrade to 3.0 to install that, and that reminded me why I

It has also messed up the attribution (see above).
Also the 'reply' and 'reply all' button is not on the program toolbar
any more - I have to right click.
All in all *not* a good upgrade.

I had an earlier version for v2 of Thunderbird.
I have now upgraded to v3 of Thunderbird - I admit it takes some getting
used to - however, you can use View -> Toolbars - > Customise to add you
reply / delete icons again....
