Well, if we can't use the opening QL screen because some 'smell'
manufacturer already has something similar, why not use the previous screen
instead - the 'memory test' tweed pattern :o)

Or, the TV mode screen (a single white rectangle, with a black one below)
Or, 'Press F1/F2 to start'
Or, 'Copyright Sinclair 1983'

And for a mascot, how about a 'Tony', surely someone can do a
cartoon/caricature/cutesy of Tony Tebby :o)
