Yes, all the '\', '<' etc. stuff is on other keys, too. Many programmers prefer the English layout because the brackets are directly accessible instead of having to use a Shift or AltGr combination (we have our Umlauts on those keys). But it's a matter of getting used to it, I have used German layouts almost my whole live so I have no big problem with it. Especially as I usually can type faster than think about what to type anyway ;-) Marcel
