Here, I'll have to disagree forcefully. Of course we can exploit the 
lmachines native potential.
All it takes for that is for the people who really know the machine 
very well, most notably those who conceived it, to participate in 
software development even if only to make their OWN machine 
better.
Well, why don't they?
I have much difficulty to believe that this is because of licence 
issues - after all, the initial licence WAS amended quite heavily.

Non that isn't the problem. Even if we have a great OS, applications 
don't follows automatically.

The question is: was he informed of the bug?
Under penalty of being qualified by Dexter as a TT "groupie", I must 
say that, if there were defects in the OS and he was made aware of 
them, he did fix them.

Now this is an interesting point. Surely the OS could also have 
been supplied to you an disk. It is fairly easy to load that over the 
existing OS.
