I know it is not very usefull, but I use sernet (2.25) between the WinXP PC
with QPC and the Q60, and between the same PC and the original QL and
everything is working perfectly.
As a cable between the PC and Q60 I use a standard serial cable
female-female linked to com2(PC) and ser1(Q60) bought in a computer shop.
Between the PC and the QL I use a Laplink Cable from the PC(com1) to the
QL(ser2) , on the QL side the Laplink cable is joined to the QL modem cable.
Speed is set to 115200 between PC and Q60 and 19200 between PC and QL
It works , maybe I am just lucky -)
Beware PC cables - they so often don't fully handshake.
I would never trust a cable unless I saw its pinouts.

Both PC handshake lines (RTS/CTS) must be linked through for reliable
operation - crossover for PC <-> Qx0. For 'real' QL use, that means QL
DTR/CTS to PC (or other) RTS/CTS (crossover for ser2).

Are you using Hermes?

I assume sernet is still incompatible with superHermes.

Yes it is (And the"pipeline" feature doesn't work either)
