Hi Andrew, I missed the point :( I didn't realized that pressing the middle button will do a panning. Fabrice just opened my eyes. I think the old interface is perfect with that. Sorry for not looking at the code. I have tried the new Doom like interface from svn. I don't think it's intuitive for most users. The original one is better. Maybe we should add some hint to point dump users like me to the middle button click.
