Hi Martin, yes it's already there, but badly communicated as usual. +/- will do the zoom. alt + cursor keys will do the panning. But make sure the map canvas has the key focus, by tapping on it. It's always a problem to communicate these features: * Add them to a menu with shortcut keys displayed. 1 senseless menu more but probably the best way to attract the user's attention. * Add a "did you know..." dialog at startup. Do you ever read these things? * Add a some words of wisdom to the no map screen. Good for the 1st time user, bad for all old users with a map. * Add a first time after release dialog. Same as previous but vice versa. * Write a manual. By that I could torture all users with a nice RTFM response. But it won't help the problem. These are the really tough problems.
