Hi Gour,

the tdb file is just a look-up table that defines the basemap and the
high detailed sub-tiles.

On the mkgmap homepage they state that mkgmap is able to create such a
tdb from the *img files. Thus have a look at the docs.

Just a bit of background on that: Loading a single img was always an
evil hack in QLandkarte. It simply does not fit the intended data
structure of a propper map, that has a *tdb file, a basemap file and
several detailed tiles. When I started with QLandkarte tdb creation was
kind of hard. Thus I had mercy. But these days there are 2 tools, mkgmap
and CGPSMapper, to create a proper map. That is why I would like to keep
it *tdb only.
