Hi josef, I've tried the ppa from dirk-computer42. This thus upgrade QLGT to version 1.7.6. But I can not find the garmin drivers in the ppa of Dirk.
Also the garmin drivers are installed (qlandkartegt-garmin) The gamin module is not loaded (I think in 12.04 this module was not loaded by default anymore) Furthermore the udev definition was also created. I even purged the whole installation of both QLGT and the garmin driver. But I keep on getting the same error. Could it be that the qlankartegt-garmin package is NOK?
