You know I sit and contemplate whether or not to answer your mail. It took a little bit before I decided that it would be in the best interest of everyone to do just that.
For you Henning, if you would actually stop with the attitude people would probably like you a little more. Every comment I have seen come from you to anyone on this list has been that of "I know more than you and you are bugging me" attitude. My advise to you is try a different tactic. For those that commented on the quoting style, If I wanted to look like AOL I would use their software. And for those implying things, why don't you look at the way you are yourself before you comment about people. As for following along in a thread it is as simple or as complex as you make it. If you can not follow along with the subject then maybe you should not use email. That is what the line is for. You know, for everyone on this list this is for you. This list is about helping those that cannot find the answer to common and no so common problems to their qmail-ldap installations. I know I have listed things on this list and what have I gotten "NOTHING". Or better yet, "Don post a second time, because we can read" What the hell kind of help is this. I think the essence of this list is about helping one another and the one thing it is turning into is bashing everyone else. I know I personally have gotten mail off list from people wanting help and to talk about real issues trying to work through them. I welcome those posts and emails. Because I know the question they are asking they probably won't get answered. Instead of worrying about the small stuff, why don't you start helping those people that post? This is something you need to think about? I know I have.
