As an open letter to ORBZ, I respectfully ask that you specify a valid
return-path whenever possible (allowing that perhaps there is a specific
test involving return-path). I was recently scanned, and had numerous double
bounces due to this fact. A sys admin's job is hard enough without having to
spend time dealing with email that could otherwise be avoided. I also think
accepting the return of your bounces is common courtesy, unless you're a
spammer ;-)

I support what you are doing in theory, especially with the advent of newbie
Linux hobbyists who don't know the first thing about security, opening
thousands of new spamming opportunities.

I am sure many of us who have had to deal with ORBS in New Zealand in the
past have come back feeling that they are a bunch of assholes, and their
reputation preceded the others who are listing open relays. I am glad to see
that ORBZ is willing to enter a dialog with admins instead of taking the
holier-than-thou "like it or lump it" attitude of the (hopefully) now
defunct ORBS.

I personally don't mind the periodic scanning of my mail servers, as long as
I don't have to clean up the mess left behind. Again, I think some common
courtesy will go a long way for sys admin support of your efforts.
