Greetings qmailtoaster friends.
A few weeks ago I moved my server from one dedicated web host to
another. I use it mainly for my own mail, a couple of small sites.
It was running freebsd with postfix, courier imap, spam assassin,
etc. I am now running qmailtoaster but have not yet been able to
convert my old server mail files to the new format. They are all
located in user home directories under /home/<user>/Maildir. I have
pasted below what some of the files/directories look like. Is there a
utility or script that will let me convert them in such a way that
users can subscribe to them and view them in their imap clients like
thunderbird/squirrelmail,etc?
I've never tried moving from a different type of install to another, but
my backup/restore scripts may work for you. They do move the Maildir
directories from the /home/vpopmail location and restore them to the new
server. http://jakev.com/qmail/
