Hmmm, I dont think that restore script will be a good option reading this:

The restore script WILL DESTROY any data you have in QMail. Users get deleted, emails get deleted, and the vpopmail database gets deleted. It then imports all of this information from the backup file into your QMail-Toaster server.

I have to retain the existing users stuff, now that they are using the new system.
Also, my problem is that the old mail directories are in the users home, not in vpopmail.

I've never tried moving from a different type of install to another, but
my backup/restore scripts may work for you. They do move the Maildir
directories from the /home/vpopmail location and restore them to the new
