follow this link:
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01507.html
it describes some changes you can make to /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp to
scan internal and external mails.
if you make changes to that file you will have to do this:
# qmailctl cdb
to get those changes "registered and active"
i would probably do it this way (to be safe):
# qmailctl stop
# qmailctl cdb
# qmailctl start
the mail list archive is a goldmine of information...many of the
questions i have wanted to ask, i have found answered already...it
just takes search time.
and to show you how committed i am to not giving bad advice, i just
added simscanning to my local deliveries.
all you need to do is edit that file and tack on:
,QMAILQUE="/var/qmail/bin/simscan"
to the end of the first line in that file, then rebuild the cdb as
instructed. now, all mail is scanned by attach, clamd, and spamd.
just checked the header of a test message i sent to myself, and i am
scanning myself...boy is this fun.
