the mail list archive is a goldmine of information...many of the
questions i have wanted to ask, i have found answered already...it just
takes search time.
imho, that most of this info that are faq should be added to the wiki so
that the mailing list can be used more for troubleshooting. i do not
expect the guys who make the qmt work to do all the documentation. i am
contributing back to the project by silently and reluctantly adding bits
and pieces to the wiki, when i find the time.
This is a very important observation. Please don't be reluctant to add
bits and pieces to the wiki though, fuzzy.
Erik (EE) has added faqs on many occasions, I'm guessing because he gets
tired of answering the same question repeatedly. He has a critical role
in other project areas too. Updating the wiki faqs is something nearly
everyone can do to help the project, and doing so also enables Erik to
focus on other more specialized tasks.
I'd like to suggest that whenever anyone gets an answer on the list,
they update the wiki faq with the result. I don't think that's too much
to ask. Oh, and don't be concerned about proper english. Someone else
will likely come along and polish things up a bit.
Thanks to everyone for their contribution(s).
