I want to create a qmail server to use Dovecot IMAP and Dspam.

With the case of Dovecot, I'd like to know if it is possible to
eliminate Courier IMAP from the compilation. Are there some other
dependencies on Courier that will cause the setup to fail and likewise
with Spamassassin as well?
No hard dependencies. . .
I want the bits relating to Antivirus scanning to be present and I am
hoping that excluding Spamassassin will not affect those bits.
The latest simscan, we ship, includes support for dspam. We do not
enable it, but you are welcome to make modifications and even write an
article about it on the wiki. :)
