If you use qtp-newmodel for upgrades, the spambox will persist if you
follow the directions at the bottom of the
http://qtp.qmailtoaster.com/trac/wiki/qtp-newmodel#Tailoring page.
Unless a qtp upgrade clobbers it. On further investigation, it appears
that an qtp upgrade would indeed clobber any changes there. Would
someone like to create a ticket on the qtp site for this? I'm a little
busy right now. ;)

I had the same problem in my mail server some weeks ago after upgrading
my installation. Using any feature of qmailadmin (passwd, foward,
autorespond) will add a new line to the .qmail alias of my users.
I am not sure if you solved your problem and I did not find any answer
in the list (sometimes I don't find things that are right in my face).
For such reason I will post what I did.
I found that the first line:
|/var/qmail/bin/preline /usr/bin/maildrop -A 'Content-Filter:
maildrop-toaster' /etc/mail/mailfilter
is a line added by qmailadmin every time I checked the Spam detection
when adding or modifying a user in my previous installation.
The second line is added every time I use qmailadmin after the
upgrade. Then I noticed that the Spam detection option was gone in my
new qmailadmin.
I rebuilded the qmailadmin rpm with flag --define spambox 1 and problem
fixed.

In some systems where we are using old setup, we were facing the same
issue. Ronnie, hope if any modification done in the qmailadmin for
the same user will again bring the problem back. Plz check this. If
the problem does not occur again, its good. If the same thing happens,
use the following quickfix.
cd /home/vpopmail/domains/domainname/username/
mv .qmail .qmail.bak
This will fix the problem for the single user.
Thanks and Regards,

You might want to test a bit. Which package versions?

Ok, I deleted the second line and it fixed the problem. Did it insert
this line using the qmailadmin web app?

Subject: [qmailtoaster] Duplicates after changing password
I changed 2 of my email address passwords today via qmailadmin and now
both of those accounts get duplicate emails.
Any ideas on how to stop this?
In my .qmail file
|/var/qmail/bin/preline /usr/bin/maildrop -A 'Content-Filter:
maildrop-toaster' /etc/mail/mailfilter
/home/vpopmail/domains/xxxxx/userxx/Maildir
They are on seperate lines. Email with no problems does not have the
/home/vpopmail line?
Running CentOS 5.2 64bit.
Thank you in advance.
