I wonder if Alberto was meaning encryption during send/receive
operations. If that's the case, the answer is that QMT uses TLS
encryption whenever it's available. If you use spamdyke, you'll see an
indication in the smtp logs whether encryption is being used or not for
each connection. If you don't use spamdyke (you really should use
spamdyke), qmail puts an indication in the message headers that
encryption was used.
If he meant encrypted on storage, then I believe that an encrypted
filesystem would be be best approach.
