Thanks to Bharath for updating autorespond and control-panel. Autorespond is an upstream version upgrade, and control-panel has had short tags and some extra html removed in preparation for COS6.

Simscan has a new update-simscan script, which allows clamav and spamassassin to update their versions in simscan when they're upgraded. This happens in the rpm now, so it works if you don't use qtp-newmodel (which has taken care of this in the past, and still does).

Spamassassin is the biggest change by far. We're going from 3.2.5 to 3.3.2, which is pretty big. You should probably have a look at http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/spamassassin/branches/3.3/build/announcements/3.3.0.txt to see what's in store.

Like clamav, SA now does not include rules in the basic package, and relies on sa-update to populate them. In addition, a whole new rule base is used in each minor release (3.2 to 3.3), so sa-update will run as part of the %post install process. This runs pretty quickly so long as things (network and servers) are working properly. sa-update now also runs on an hourly basis (give or take a few minutes to give the servers a break), so SA's rules will now automatically be kept up to date. This only used to happen if you had set up sa-update yourself (or you had run qtp-sa-update).

If you used qtp-sa-update in the past to install rules from openprotect.com channel (formerly rules-du-jour), you *DO NOT* want to run that script again. It will be modified soon, but the change to use these rules is simple. Just edit the /usr/share/spamassassin/sa-update.cron file uncomment the openprotect line, and move it down one line, before the spamassassin.org line. That's all there is to it. The rules will be downloaded and activated with the next sa-update cycle.

FWIW, this brings us nearly current. The only packages left are vpopmail, qmailadmin and vqadmin. I hope to get those tested soon.

That's all for now. Please post here if you have a problem.

Fabulous, everyone!

Thanks for your hard work.
