Oops. I know what's happening. I tested the removal of qtp-sa-update,
but not the non-removal. My bad. In the meantime, do
# touch /etc/cron.daily/qtp-sa-update
and I'm betting it'll work.
I'll get a 1.4.3 release built tomorrow, which should be available
(fully sync'd) by some time Monday. FWIW, we're aiming to have mirrors
sync'd every hour, so that will be the longest time to wait.

Running qtp-newmodel allowed the build to complete. qtp-ami-up2date showed
another version of spamassassin was available which did not download

There is only one place where script
/usr/share/spamassassin/sa-update.cron
is started - /etc/cron.d/sa-update
In this file line executing script is commented out. This line executes
update script ones a day at 4:10 am, not every hour.
IMHO old script /etc/cron.daily/qtp-sa-update should be removed, if
exists.
