Hi Eric.

The |yum-plugin-security| package allows you to use *yum* to obtain a list of all of the errata that are available for your system, including security updates, so for my test (now production server) I installed it - not really knowing if it improves anything for me - but You may have a list of bugfixes available for Your system by running 'yum updateinfo list' ( running that command now gets me the epel clamav-0.98.1-1.el6.x86_64 bugfix).

look at this :

https://www.dawnstar.id.au/linux-documentation/limiting-yum-security-updates/

I initially installed qmailtoaster by following the scrips You have provided for Centos 6.5 (curl ... sh qt-bootstrap-1 .....) + a lot of settings for all cronjobs, logwatc etc).

What's the security plugin do? I don't have that one.

Also, did you not use yum to install the .qt. packages initially?

Thanks.
