The qmailctl start / stop process, compared to qmailctl restart, definitely worked, as far as resetting the process goes. I dropped the softlimit back to 100 megs (which still feels like an awful lot) and got immediate segfaults. I bumped it up to 200 megs about 30 minutes ago, and no segfaults so far, but sometimes they’re a few hours apart.
