My clamav has gone nuts. My /tmp/ directory is filling up with 10000s of folders like "clamav-5d3ecc9e9b0d0899746d4a1d44f86911.tmp". This has been happening since yesterday. The only change I made to the mail server was to replaced the /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue with a link to a perl script (qmail-queue-wrapper) which adds a custom header to messages before passing them to qmail-queue.orig.
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 May 23 00:51 qmail-queue -> qmail-queue-wrapper -rwxr-xr-x 1 clamav root 10145 May 22 07:01 qmail-queue-wrapper -rws--x--x 1 qmailq qmail 27472 Oct 5 2014 qmail-queue.orig Normally I just have qmail-queue symlinked to qmail-queue.orig. I'm using QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/simscan" in my tcp.smtp file, and I haven't modified the simscan or clamav configuration. Any ideas why clamav isn't reaping these tmp files?
