I think it is ok to have a separate SVN as long as the subproject is
"officially" part of qooxdoo (which I would be pleased about!). For one
thing, I'd like to know when somebody commits to this project, but I don't
want to get emails about general qooxdoo commits. The projects are
autonomous as far as I don't need to know about qooxdoo CODE to write
qxtransformer CODE. All I should need to know is the qooxdoo API.

I agree with this. I am happy to use qooxdoo wiki. Some Documentation, by
the way, already exists. qxtransformer is 100% compatible with PHP
QXBuilder XML, but, thanks to Siarhei,  is XSLT-based and much more
advanced.
