Hi Derrell, I wouldn't be so strict, even if passion has driven the discussion beyond a point of mere facts. I, for one, am interested in the various experiences people have when setting up a build environment for qooxdoo on Windows, and how they cope with the obstacles they encounter. After all, we from the core team impose this environment and make recommendations concerning best practices and the like. It's good to validate this against real experiences, and it is also inspiring. Also, we are in the process of reducing dependencies to cygwin and GNU utilities, and I'm interested to learn if we are moving in the right direction.
