rc is unfortunately used in various contexts in *ix, or, perhaps, it is actually used surprisingly consistent ... ;-) What Derrell means (I suppose) is a config file that is read by an application at startup to get some predefined settings. The import thing is, here the application in question IS NOT the web application created with Qooxdoo, but the generator application.
