It would be a reasonable "enhancement bug report" to request that
table.setElectable(false) set the selection mode to NO_SELECTION. Feel free
to post that to bugzilla.

There are "selection" highlight settings that are different from "row focus"
highlight settings. There's all in the theme, and all customizable by the
user. It makes no sense, though, to have selectable rows that you can't see
are selected, right?
