Hi Martin, thanks for your thoughtful message and I look forward to what comes out of this discussion. As I am very busy at the moment, I won't be be able to respond right now, but will soon. I think you are spot on with your observations and the decisions on redesign of the framework that have to be made to in order to stay competitive. The challenge will be to find the right structure in which community contributions and priorities of the core team compliment each other.
