Release M2 --- was Re: 1.5 JVM hanging when running tests

The M2 build just finished, all tests passed with Sun's 1.6 JVM.


What do we want to do with the release of M2, I assume that we want it 
to also
work under 1.5 (Sun). If it is a JVM issue, do we go ahead and vote the 
M2 release?
