Reinstalling msys and recompiling everything did not solve my problem.
Then I remembered I once had a problem only on my laptop, not on my pc and my colleagues didn't either. There helped a fresh(er) QtCreator.ini.

I tried the same, renamed the old one and started the creator. And woosh everything is fine. I now only copied some stuff from the old ini over, some other stuff I reconfigured in the UI.

Are you interested in my old ini, to check if you can see what hindered the version extraction? I don't have the time for that, as I can use my creator with the new ini now.

Kind regards,
Björn.

I cannot reproduce that.

  From my console (doesn't matter if bash or cmd):
  $ clangd --version
  clangd version 15.0.0 (https://github.com/HazardyKnusperkeks/llvm-project.git 9d5b44357a0bfd06efa676db94b29182dfc24a42)
  Features: windows
  Platform: x86_64-w64-windows-gnu
Looks normal. Are you sure it's the same executable? Or maybe it's an environment issue?

It is the same executable, I only have one clangd on the whole system.
I have set up all my paths correctly and even started the creator from the very same shell.

As said on the other mail, my laptop doesn't have the problem. So I'm going to resetup the whole system this evening.
