This sounds rather odd. Have you double-checked by putting the old ini file
back (and leaving everything else the same!)?

I just did. And did the last time I had a similar issue with the ini. There is
some problem in the ini, but it's way too large that I want to disect it.
As said, I can give the ini to you, if you want.
