I too would rather it be warmer than colder. IF not only for the
struggle it is to put on and take off my coat

When I go to the football games here in the dead heat of September I have
to have spray bottles and ice packs with me also. It is just part of being a
quadriplegic and something I except. Unfortunately, you seem to be more
sensitive to the heat than I am and that is not unusual. Maybe you could find
a middle ground where the weather is decent during the summer and not terribly
cold during the winter. I would love to move to Hawaii if I had the money. I
lived there for three years when I was younger and the weather was fantastic.
There isn't even a need for a heater.

I guess Im a cold quad it
seems like Im always cold. But I cant do heat good either. I had heat
stroke a few times, its easier 4 me 2 warm up than 2 cool down. In the
summer I have 2 be real careful drink fluids, keep a wet washcloth near,
spray bottle, ice or cold pax. And itll hit me fast and hard Im fine 1
minute than just fall over drained of all energy. I was coming across the
parking lot last summer than just couldnt push anymore, couldnt even situp
in my chair. Had 2 get someone 2 push me home call my agency, pack ice bags
on neck, groin area its funny what youll ask a stranger 2 do in dire
emergencies. Id love 2 move down south in the future, I can deal with the
cold but cant stand the snow anymore, I can dress warm but getting around
in snow is DAMN near impossible at times :( Houston

It seems every year is worse
for me. I'm sitting here in my 700 house with a thermal T-shirt
covered by a sweater and a small blanket in my lap. I still feel
cold. I can't eat or drink anything cold without cooling my body
down so much that I get the shivers. I cannot wait for
spring. Billy
.turn that thermo up, billy...mine's on 78!!
