Eastwood know's he is not  GOD . He never said he was and I'm sure he has known QUADS and PARA'"S    Most people do...........heck he knew Chris Reeve. In the movie the quad girl wanted to die so bad she bit her tongue almost off........they operated and sewed it back but she ripped out the stitches and did it again..trying to bleed to death, but they interveined  and did surgury again -- then taped a rubber thing in her mouth to prohibit her from this.  If you have not seen the movie Eastwood told her he could not help her die and did not want part of that sin ......he wanted to HELP HER LIVE , offering to care for her or help her go back to school.
