I'm no liberal on a lot of issues, but this war was a someting Rove and Bush
wanted for a long time. Sure Sadeam broke the UN Resolutions and was an evil
man, but if we use that as the basis for war, we would be fighting a lot of
wars.
And remember, those were not the reasons they gave for going to war. It was
that Saddam had WMD and could get US with them. And that he was involved
with terrorists. The UN Resolutions were far down on that list if even used
at first.
I would gave maybe supported them going after Iran, at least they supported
terrorist and looks to have been linked to the guys in 911.
If the UN Resolutions were the big issue, then why not go after him before
911.
