I live out in the country on a dirt road still going for walks is quite rough on the body.  However, the road should be blacktop within the next couple of days so I can have some smooth sailing.  I never was one to do anything myself and since I've been in a wheelchair that has not changed.  This summer I went down to the lake walk, which borders Lake Superior, and spend some time there but I felt a little on easy because I was by myself.  I take my cell phone everywhere I go even in the yard just in case something happens.  If you think you might go for a walk, make sure you charge your batteries fully the night before.  Jim
