A commonality of our condition does not bind you and me. To your logic then
the able bodied are "a group". So, what of it? Please do not begin calling
me brother.

As quadriplegic, we are a minority within the disabled community. A member
regardless of any other group we belong(ed) to.

It is a minority which binds us together, regardless of race, creed, gender,
or monitary class. In a way, we are a minority in which all other social
barriers are meaningless. The commonality of our condition strips away the
barriers affecting the temporarily able bodied.
