I have one in the same place about 4x4 in. I've had it for four YEARS. I've
tried everything short of visiting the Pope and nothing works. I have done all
the following: bed rest, wet-to-dry, wound vac, roho cushion, tilt chair,
various ointments and treatments from the wound care center, massive protein
and vitamin supplements, prayer and eloquent curses. And still -- there it is.
It is a bit like a rabid wolf hiding behind a tree that will most certainly one
day jump out and get me. My best advice in your situation -- as much protein as
you can stomach. Try Pro-stat, it is very good.

[QUAD-L] Pressure soreI have a pressure sore on my tailbone. It's been there
for four months and is about the size of a pencil eraser. I put this ointment
on it that was given to me by my doctor every morning, then a bandage. I made
a donut out of sheepskin that is taped on over that. I try to stay off of it
as much as I can. I get in my chair to eat then lay down on the couch and then
back in my chair for lunch, errands or a meeting and then I try to lay down
again in the afternoon. I take the bandage off at night and let it be open to
air. It looks like it's going to heal and then it just breaks open again.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I'm really sick of it.Debbie C4, April 11,
