Don't forget to increase your consumption of Amino Acids in your diet as your body continues to heal and grow. Naturals are the best, but concentrates aren' t bad either. Does your body good. Best Wishes W In a message dated 2/9/2008 1:24:10 P.M. Central Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:
Thanks everyone for all your suggestions! I started taking a multivitamin and am trying to increase my protein and calories. I've lost a lot of weight since my accident which hasn't helped my skin integrity. I know if I can get it to granulate new tissue by keeping it covered I will be better off in the long run. If I let it scab over when it heals I'll have an indentation and nothing between bone and skin. I like the idea of using the new skin to toughen it up after its healed. This site is great, you've given me so many more ideas than my doctor has had. I will let you know how it goes and what works.
