[QUAD-L] colostomy

This is Mike, C-5, 31/2 years.  I live in a convescent home and had to go to 
the hospital 3 days ago in case I went into DR.  One of the nurses asked if I 
had ever considered a colostomy to handle my bowel care.  What are the pros and 
cons on this procedure?  Thanks
