It takes forever for someone to come fix my chair as well.  I have a manual 
chair and if something goes wrong, I usually end up going to the shop to get 
someone there to fix it.  I've had the armrest break which is a terrible thing 
for me to help with my transfers and I have no balance so a risk of falling and 
I've also had one of my casters break on the weekend.  That however, I was able 
to get someone down here to fix it and Medicare paid for it.  I think a lot has 
to do with the companies you deal with.  I've called Medicare about a couple of 
things.  Have you tried calling them directly to see whats up?  The company 
could use things as an excuse so they take time getting there.  Just a thought.
