Tis why IF I *AM *ALONE ... I go nowhere near gravel, sand, potential dirt that can become mud and the obvious. Numerous other examples but when it is my time to leave this life... I don't want to leave this life by sheer stupidity. I have no idea what that lady/girl in Florida was thinking when she veered off the sidewalk in the summer heat of Florida. The one that was portrayed on *Dr. G. Medical Examiner.*
She was "supposedly" going after her dog. But firstly... if I was even going to go out in that type of heat by myself (*which I would not)* I surely would not go in an area where there was dirt, sand, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.. She is no longer with us anymore but her dog is. *nutty look*. Don't get me wrong... I am one of the biggest dog lovers out there but "if the story was" that she was trying to go after her dog... I think I would have tried other avenues besides putting a heavy wheelchair into sand-like territory on a bloody hot day and so on and so forth. Sheeeesh. Dr. G. had to give her best explanation or hypothesis as to what happened but when you come right down to it is still speculation and conjecture as to "the real story." And I could not believe that her mother did not go looking for her after what was several hours in such heat. Crazy!
