What worries me about this is you are getting the feeling you can't breathe.
Is this feeling what's causing your anxiety Or are you anxious and this causes the breathing problem? Whenever I have had anything wrong with my lungs, which was quite a bit along time ago, I found it was very difficult to breathe while lying flat. If this is just come on recently, you might want to talk to your doctor about this and maybe he/she will give you a chest x-ray to make sure everything is clear. The last anxiety attack I had was in 1997 when I came down with bilateral pneumonia. Not being able to breathe will cause obvious anxiety and worries. If I'm way off base, just let me know.
