Hi Joe, I agree with Eric, but for a different reason. I'm met some great and skillful doctors in small town hospitals, and I'm sure that all doctors are doing their best. However, when it comes to the spine and spinal cord, specialty knowledge and practice can mean the difference between success or failure at your expense. Your doctors can consult with the best, depending on your location with spinal cord injury doctors at Kessler Hospital, Shepard Hospital, NorthWestern's- Rehab Institute of Chicago and Craig Hospital. Thank God for computers, digital cameras and the ability to transmit information, with the speed of modern communication. I am also forwarding a copy of your email to our Executive Director of the Chicago Chapter of Nat SCI Assoc. for her perusal and comments. Best Wishes In a message dated 2/20/2009 10:58:16 P.M.
