When one is consuming 5000+ calories a day and sitting on the couch
watching the Jerry Show, obesity is not that far off.
Living healthy is possible even when one is laying flat on their backs.
Best Wishes

No its not but they have the ability to change unlike most that are

The question is not how a person gets disabled..........just simply if
they are disabled or not. Sad as it is a 350 pound person is disabled, they
cant walk far and need some sort of mobility device in most cases.

I think it is more of an addiction in most cases. I think it’s more
mental than physical…. It’s not like they get that way because they don’t
exercise. Look at us for example, most of us are not even capable yet we aren’t
obese because we choose to eat healthy.
Just my 2 cents……

Subject: [QUAD-L] Is obesity a disability?

Hi All,

The America Medical Association (AMA) is gathering this week to discuss
many things. One subject they voted on was that obesity is NOT a disability,
which I concur.

What do all of you think about this subject? ~ Bobbie
