This is so EXACTLY the same for me...

Hot and cold at the same time.. blankets pulled up.... I use a pillowcase on my 
forehead quite a bit.. My wife says I look like a nun in bed !

A poikilotherm is a plant or animal whose internal temperature varies along 
with that of the ambient environmental temperature.
